Beauty of an abandoned location…

I’ve heard a lot about the old and abandoned LA zoo from my photog friends, so this past weekend I finally decided to do a shoot there. My idea was to capture the beauty of private moments in an abandoned place where no one is watching. I was more than pleased when I laid my eyes on this hidden gem! It has torn shacks, dusty cages and very earthy rings. My model, Erin, and this rusty location created a perfect contrast for the shoot. I haven’t had a chance to shoot anything in a month but this was a perfect comeback. I highly recommend this location and definitely will be going back…

Alex & Jack

Barnsdall park turned out to be the perfect setting for Jack and Alex’s shoot on a sunny day. We found some nice shady spots with just the right amount of light hitting their faces and giving them a nice glow. Both of them were easy going and fun to shoot with!

Golden Dragon parade, LA 2011

It was my first Golden Dragon parade in LA and needless to say it was a treat for my eyes! It was a splash of colours. I really enjoyed the dragons but what I enjoyed more were the kids at the parade. I loved watching them watch the parade and taking their candid shots. Most of the times I managed to be in the shadows but when they saw me pointing the camera at them….. you will see their reaction in the photos here. I could read their eyes saying – “I hate you…go away” with the exception of one or two. More kids photos. More parade photos

Brea & Jackson

Shoot with Brea and Jackson was a piece of cake, they were so comfortable in front of the camera that I had to make no efforts to give them any pointers. There was no talking going on so all I was doing was moving around and taking candid shots, pretty easy right? We went to the Santa Monica Pier for the variety that place offers, you get shade, crowd, sand, water, roller coasters and a lot more. I definitely will be going there again soon…More photos

An Indian Wedding

I love shooting Indian weddings and couples because of their bright, vibrant and detailed dresses. These colors are a visual treat! We chose LA Union station for our Bride/Groom creative session to match the richness of their dresses. This couple put together with the union station gave a very grand feeling to the pictures and I love it. It is almost like moments frozen in time. More Photos
